Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who are these Share Groups designed for?

Both groups are designed for senior leaders at major consumer goods companies — specifically Vice Presidents, Directors, and Group Managers with direct responsibility for RGM or pricing functions (for the RGM Share Group) or data science and enterprise analytics functions (for the DS&S Share Group). Members come from companies with meaningful scale and active commercial functions.

How is confidentiality maintained?

Membership is limited to one organization per competitive set, so no two direct competitors sit at the same table. All sessions operate under a mutual confidentiality understanding. What members share stays within the group. This structure is fundamental to the candor that makes the groups valuable.

What does a typical session look like?

In-person sessions run two full days and combine structured topic presentations with open roundtable discussion. Each member company typically leads or contributes to at least one topic. Virtual sessions are three hours and focus on a tighter set of questions submitted in advance. Between sessions, members can submit questions to the full group at any time.

How selective is the membership process?

Both groups are selective. Walter reviews each inquiry personally and evaluates fit based on company profile, function scope, and whether a slot is available in the relevant competitive category. The goal is a group where every member adds as much as they gain. After submitting an inquiry, Walter typically follows up within two business days.

What is the annual commitment?

Members attend four sessions per year: two two-day in-person meetings and two three-hour virtual roundtables. Travel to in-person sessions is each member's responsibility. The sessions are structured to deliver high-value peer exchange within a manageable time commitment for senior executives.

How do I find out if my company's competitive category is open?

The best way is to submit a membership inquiry. Walter will confirm whether a slot is available in your category and discuss fit directly. Download the group overview for either group to get a detailed sense of the format and current membership composition before reaching out.

Membership Inquiry

Interested in joining a Share Group?

Membership is selective and limited to non-competing organizations. Both groups welcome inquiries from qualified consumer goods companies with active RGM or Data Science and Analytics functions. Reach out directly to begin the conversation.
